Chemistry Laboratory Technician

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

​

Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be as follows:

1.  Development of new materials based on silicon:

2.  Prepare equipment and materials for the execution of experiments

3.  Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of samples

4.  Collect data, document analyses

5.  Present the results to his/her manager

6.  Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments

7.  Follow strict control and safety protocols

8.  Manage inventory and order the material necessary for the operation of the laboratory

9.  Manage laboratory waste in accordance with current standards

10.  Make commercial desires and technical realities coincide

QUALIFICATIONS

 

1.  Bachelor in chemistry/biochemistry/biology or qualification by experience in a similar role

2.  Experience or graduated in laboratory technics

3.  Good English communication skills (oral and written)

4.  Good  knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

5.  Analytical spirit, organizational skills, proactivity

6.  Ability to work in a team

7.  Drafting of protocols

8.  Implementation of all formulations in the laboratory

9.  Laboratory work (respect of hygiene rules, good laboratory practices)

10.  Understanding, analysis, and interpretation of analytical results
