QUALITY ASSISTANT & REGULATORY AFFAIRS ASSISTANT

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be as follows:

Assist to:

  1. Execute the medium and long-term strategic quality plan, operate the established quality management concept and focus on quality objectives aligned with the Principles of the Company’s Quality Manual

  2. Be the interface between the QA/RA department and all other departments and customers for QA/RA aspects and support our customers in the Regulatory process

  3. Manage Quality/Regulatory audit/inspection preparation as well as internal QA/RA audits

  4. Carry out responsibilities in strict compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to the business

  5. Investigate and report customer complaints

  6. Develop and keep up to date the quality systems: SOP’s, training, deviation, Capa and establish a quality dashboard (KPIs) for the company, set targets and organize/lead regular quality management review

  7. Work independently with the different divisions and their management and manage the QA/RA departmental budget

  8. exercise the authority you have for approving/rejecting batches, raw materials, intermediate products

  9. Perform notifications in Belgium, France

  10. Approve labelling and marketing tools

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

For this important and interesting function with real quality related authority, we are looking for candidates who already have several years of relevant experience in quality and regulatory affairs. Good candidates should also fullfill the following requirements:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree (or more) in chemistry/biochemistry/biology or qualification by experience in a similar role

  2. Minimum 3-5 years experience in such role

  3. Excellent communication skills in English are an absolute must (oral and written): knowing an additional major European language is a plus

  4. Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint): knowing SAP is an advantage

  5. Possess proven leadership and coaching skills and the ability to drive changes

  6. Be flexible, organized and conscientious

  7. Be results driven, autonomous and a self-starter

  8. Have high Integrity standards and be rigorous in how you work

  9. Possess a real team spirit with strong communication skills

  10. Have a customer focus and be solution-oriented

  11. HACCP & ISO 22000 knowledge is a plus
